PilePro software
PilePro has been developed by MSE. Tran Quang Thien and MSE. Nguyen Hong An since 1998. Basic information of this software:
- PilePro is an Institute-level scientific project in 2004, which was evaluated and accepted by the Institute of Transport Science & Technology on October 19, 2006;
- PilePro has been granted a copyright registration certificate on July 8, 2010 by the Copyright Office, Vietnam;
- PilePro is a computer software (Software) specialized in construction, used to analyze the working of pile foundation in elastic foundation according to Winkler model. The interaction between the pile - ground is specified according to the standard Pile foundation - Design standard TCVN 10304:2014;
- The results of the analysis include:
- Resistance (load-bearing capacity) of the pile according to the soil (according to many applicable standards);
- Displacement of pile base, displacement of pile according to pile length;
- 6 components of pile internal force according to pile length, including analysis of characteristics of longitudinal force and component of resistance due to pile-soil friction. At the same time, the program also analyzes the LRF ratio (mobilization factor = internal force / resistance) of the pile according to the material and soil;
- Check the horizontal bearing capacity of the soil along the length of the pile;
- Check the thinness of the pile;
- Test the pile load capacity according to the material along the pile length, including simultaneous compression/tensioning, with consideration of moment amplification due to structural longitudinal bending;
- Calculating pile foundation settlement and rating;
- Check the bearing capacity of the soil layers below the pile tip;
- Applicable standards: TCVN 10304:2014, AASHTO LRFD 1998 ÷ 2020, TCVN 11823:2017.

- Correct the method for calculating the load bearing capacity of pile tips driven in loose soil according to AASHTO LRFD 2017. Specifically: In formula 10.7.3.8.6g-1 in AASHTO LRFD 2017 and formula 68 - Article 7.3.8.6.7 - section 10 - TCVN 11823:2017 in determining ql or qλ. In the N-mm unit system, the value ql = qλ is taken as 8 times the value (0.047880259•N160) for sand and 6 times the value (0.047880259•N160) for silty sand without clay;
- Fix numerical and graphic errors.

RoadPro software
RoadPro was developed by Master Nguyen Hong An in 1998. Basic information of this software:
- RoadPro is an Institute-level scientific project in 2007, which was evaluated and accepted by the Institute of Transport Science & Technology on October 24, 2008;
- RoadPro has been granted a copyright registration certificate on July 8, 2010 by the Copyright Office, Vietnam;
- RoadPro is computer software (Software) specialized in construction, used to analyze the working of the soil under the effect of loads under 3 limit states: strength, stability, deformation;
- The program is capable of analyzing some popular foundation reinforcement solutions: soil change (sand cushion, EPS lightweight block), geotextile, deep reinforcement (sand pile, sand well, permeable wick, cement - soil column), hard piles (reinforced concrete piles, wooden piles);
- The results of the analysis include:
- Analysis of 3 stress components (2 normal stress components and 1 linear component) at any position in the ground under the action of loads;
- Check and display the plastic deformation area of the soil due to the applied loads;
- Check the load capacity of the soil layers under the effect of loads;
- Analysis of deep sliding stability by Fellenius method (classical fragmentation) with combined circular arc or flat - circular sliding surface;
- Analysis of depth shear stability by Bishop method with circular arc or flat - circular sliding surfaces;
- Settlement analysis: elastic settlement (immediately settlement), consolidation settlement and the second settlement, in which the software has analysis of settlement over time with many stages of embankment;
- Applicable standards: TCVN 9355:2013, TCVN9403:2012, TCVN 9844:2013, TCVN 9906:2014, TCVN 11820:2021, TCVN 11823:2017, TCVN 12250:2018, TCCS 41:2022/TCDBVN
